Here are a few fun facts for you about April - In Ancient Rome the month of April was sacred to the goddess Venus. It is thought that the name April comes from the Latin word "to open" and describes the trees opening at springtime. lucky babies born in April get a diamond as their birthstone and April's birth flower is the daisy which conveys innocence, loyal love, and purity.
We had a great time at the Liverpool Food and Drink Spring Festival with our stall. The free Demonstrations and taster workshops went down a treat and there were some really good creations made. It was fantastic to share the joy of floristry with so many people, if you are interested in learning more make sure to book in for our flower school starting in may.
